With tears falling from her eyes
She‘s looking at the past
Wondering what she did wrong
It must have been something
It can’t have happened by itself
A voice from above
Whispering to her
“You’re my child
I will hold you in my arms
Until the end of day
I will walk with you
When time is hard
When you call for me
I’ll be there to help”
She looks at him
With tearful eyes
He reached out his hand
And together they’re walking
Walking the road of life
The road to eternity
